Antiscale Kalko Tronic in the tanning industry

Water is an important element for processing. Tannery chemistry requires a calibrated hardness (between 12-13 and 20°F by product type) necessary for correct mixing of chemicals. Under these thresholds, you can’t stop. |
Using large amounts of hot water (the mixer water present blends cubic meters of water between 25 and 35°C and, in some cases even up to 60°C and beyond) the exchangers need, from 1 to 3-4 times a year, a maintenance due to CALCARE, in rare cases even monthly.
Why Kalko Tronic?

Kalko Tronic reduces the formation of limestone without further changing water chemistry.
This is the prerequisite for the tanning industry.
Already in1996-1997installations were made (still existing today) which allowed the heat exchangers to be significantly protected and the tests were extended at tanneries in the leather district in Ponte a Egola, Santa Croce sull’Arno and Fucecchio such as Carasco Spa, CMC International Spa, BV Baronti, Nuova Delhy, allowing to refine the treatment systems. Kalko Tronic allowed to SAVE thanks to:
- Maintenance operations on lower thermal installations:MANDOPER SAVE
- Less gas costs: the boiler stays on for less time, a clean serpentine or little encrusted REDUCED THE ENERGY BULLET.
- Less costs of replacing coils/changers: the continuous chemical washes can damage the coils and the exchangers that then have to be replaced with costs not indifferent but also the extraction of the same sometimes causes some damage not repairable.
- PRODUCTION LOWERSand programming of interventions without urgency
In addition:
- It is not bulky and can be easily integrated into the plant.
- Does not change the preset water chemistry.
- It has a low cost of assistance/maintenance by our technicians.

The control unit is installed near the control panels.
Our headquarters is atHoly Cross on the Arno, in the heart of the leather area and we have been working for years in close contact with tanneries.
