Significant improvement in resource management needed
In 15 years, the Planet will face a 40% drop in water availability, unless the management of this resource is significantly improved. The alarm comes from the 2015 report ‘World Water Development’ of the UN.
Agriculture already uses 70% of the available fresh water, a figure that rises to 90% in the least developed countries the demand for water from the global manufacturing industry will increase by 400% between 2000 and 2050 according to the UN.
If the world situation is alarming, the Italian one is not pink.
The national drinking water levy, says Istat, reaches 9.5 billion cubic meters, of which 84.8% from groundwater.
The water coming out of the taps is tending to be of good quality, it detects the Aeneas, but "it remains to be dissolved nodes such as the large number of managers, the high dispersion of the resource in the distribution networks and the high concentrations of potentially harmful elements such as arsenic and fluorine in some areas of the country".
And the real emergency, according to Federutility, is precisely thepurificationwhile Legambiente speaks of "sick water": from Bussi to Priolo, from Cremona to Sarno, there are many cases of groundwater pollution.
The Alps, the WWF recalls, are the largest freshwater reserve in Europe, but " 90% of the alpine rivers have lost their natural state".
Soon, if we all do not help to limit the dispersion of resources, it is not excluded that we will have to prepare ourselves for a rationing of the distribution of this good.
We at Kalko Tronic know this and that is why we have been studying for many years how to make water harmless from the point of view of limestone and at the same time preserve this resource not wasting it.
So if you have not yet decided that anti-liming put in the house we invite you to reflect.
Where can we take you?
